“My son is in the third semester of his 1st grade year and they are still working on patterns in their math unit (he worked on these for 2 years in preschool, and then again in kindergarten). My understanding is that teachers are strictly bound by District- determined curriculum and have no flexibility in what they teach (at least for math & science units). Not the fault of the teachers, but they really aren't able to adjust lessons to meet the needs of the students.” This review was posted by a parent.
